I am always being asked what I drink given that I don’t drink tea (as in black breakfast type tea with or without milk) or coffee at all. My Lime and Ginger Tea is my drink of choice early in the morning. Using fresh ginger, fresh lime and hot water – what could be easier? I use bananas as a safe sweetener for me as I do not react adversely to them.
When I first started out on my raw foods diet, bananas were an absolute lifesaver as they were one of the few foods I could safely eat. I had severe Histamine Intolerance and I could not find anything much, that I could eat, that did not give me severe adverse symptoms.
